Mint is a platform for women - DJs and producers - working in electronic music, founded by Zoe Rasch and Ena Lind in 2013. Mint is now defunct since 2017. Mint's goal was to promote visibility amongst female DJs and acts. The platform has been providing female artists with opportunities to showcase their talent, develop their skills and expand their network. Mint held monthly club nights in Berlin, and offered workshops in DJing and producing house and techno through its Mint Campus-series initiative.
Thanks to the support from Musicboards Berlin, Mint held regular networking dinners in 2014 and 2015, and launched Mint Faces, a series of short films celebrating female DJs and producers.
In 2015 Zoe and Ena also established the agency Mint Booking. In 2016 Mint put a focus on building bridges to places outside of Berlin, for example with Club Night cooperations in Leipzig at Institut für Zukunft, or workshops in Zürich (Les Belles De Nuit Festival) or in Kampala, Uganda (with the support of the Foreign Office and Goethe Institut Berlin).
In 2017 Zoe and Ena decided to re-focus on their own careers and let the spirit of Mint continue to evolve through other artists inspired by the project.
